The Frenchman remains Qatar's first choice to take over at Parc des Princes but they could be stuck with Mauricio Pochettino for at least another season.
Zidane has been a free agent since leaving Madrid at the end of last season and the 49-year-old reportedly wants to replace Didier Deschamps as France head coach.
