4 spots, 11 players: Barca's potential squad depth in defence

Xavi reportedly would like Barcelona to sign both Jules Kounde and Inigo Martinez this summer.

This means the Barca boss could have 10 defenders at his disposal next season. Let's list them all.

Right-backs: Sergino Dest, Cesar Azpilicueta (if signed).

Centre-backs: Ronald Araujo, Jules Kounde (if signed), Eric Garcia, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Pique, Inigo Martinez.

Left-backs: Jordi Alba, Marcos Alonso (if signed), Alejandro Balde.

We expect Oscar Mingueza and Samuel Umtiti to leave the club amid the latest transfer rumours.

Such squad depth would allow Xavi to easily switch between his two 'favourite' formations, 4-3-3 and 3-4-3.
