Chelsea are in direct talks with Paris Saint-Germain over Presnel Kimpembe's potential transfer, Fabrizio Romano confirms.

So far, no official bid has been submitted. As per Romano, Chelsea are prepared to offer €45-50million.

PSG, for their part, value Kimpembe at €60-65m, meaning a compromise will have to be reached.

The left-footed centre-back has spent the entirety of his career at PSG. Earlier reports suggested that he's reticent to leave the club, although Thomas Tuchel is the one manager with whom he'd consider a reunion.

Kimpembe is not the only player Chelsea are following even after signing Kalidou Koulibaly. As per multiple sources, they've revived their interest in Jules Kounde, although they face yet another battle with Barcelona over the Sevilla player.
