Dembele close to renewing Barca contract amid interest from Chelsea

Chelsea have been linked with Ousmane Dembele for quite some time but as per reliable source Sport, he could extend his deal with Barcelona.

Dembele's Barca contract expired on July 1 but he and the Spanish club have been in talks to extend his stay at Camp Nou.

Sport report that an agreement 'is in sight' between Barcelona and Dembele over a new contract 'amid interest from Chelsea'.

Only 'very small economic details' remain to be worked out.

At the moment, Dembele is still a free agent and is able to negotiate with any club he wants. However, it seems like he might just end up staying at Barcelona.
