Diogo Jota undergoing scans for a possible recurrence of hamstring injury

As per James Pearce, Diogo Jota is being evaluated for a possible recurrence of a hamstring injury during the pre-season.

It is the same injury that he recently recovered from and would be a big blow for the player to be bogged down once again.

He picked up the initial injury playing his last game for Portugal before his off-season break. He was left out for Liverpool's game against Man United earlier this week despite being almost back to 100%.

Jota and the Liverpool staff now await the results of the scan.
