Erling Haaland conveniently changes his childhood heroes after joining Manchester City

During his unveiling as a Manchester City player earlier this month, Erling Haaland named Etihad legend Sergio Aguero as his childhood hero.

The Norwegian said: "I idolised my father [Alf-Inge Haaland] of course, but also Aguero. I have a lot of Aguero T-shirts at home!"

However, just two years ago, during his time at Borussia Dortmund, Haaland singled out Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo as his childhood idols.

The striker said back then: "I was bewitched seeing them on TV. They are examples to imitate for the continuity that allows them to remain at the highest level for so many years."

Apparently, Haaland is no longer comfortable having two former Manchester United players as his childhood heroes after signing for Man City.
