Fabrizio Romano reports that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign a one-year contract with AC Milan.
The 40-year-old is technically a free agent now as his contract with the Italian side expired in June.
In May this year, the Swede underwent surgery on his knee, ruling him out for eight months. He won't be able to play this year.
Upon returning to AC Milan in 2020, Ibrahimovic assumed the role of a leader both on and off the pitch. He played an important role in Rossoneri winning the Serie A title in the 2021/22 season, their first league title in 11 years.
