Both players are arriving Camp Nou as free agents after their contracts expired at Chelsea and AC Milan respectively.
Christensen and Kessie can now join Barcelona for preseason training ahead of the new season.
Over the last two transfer windows, Barcelona have now signed seven players as free agents.
