Lewandowski's former agent reveals real reason why he join Barca - 'to prove his better than Benzema'

Speaking to El Larguero on Sunday night, Robert Lewandowski's former agent Cezary Kucharski claimed that the Polish striker's move to Barcelona has something to do with Karim Benzema.

"Lewandowski wants to prove in Spain that is better than Benzema," Cezary Kucharski said.

"I'm sure he's going to score goals, but not so many as in Bayern, especially in the first year," Kucharski.

last season, Lewandowski scored more goals (50) than Benzema did for Real Madrid (44).

But Benzema is the more celebrated striker because he almost single-handedly led his team to the Champions League title.

As for Lewandowski, most of his goals came in the farmers league - German Bundesliga.
