Former Barcelona star Luis Suarez remains a free agent despite links to clubs like Inter Miami and River Plate.
Now, according to Sport Italia, newly-promoted Serie A side Monza have submitted an offer to sign Suarez, 35, for free.
After leaving Barcelona on a bitter note, the Uruguayan spent two seasons at Atletico Madrid since 2020.
In that time, he scored 32 goals for the Spanish side but left once his contract expired.
Monza finished four points behind Serie B winners Lecce last season. However, they did just enough to get promoted to the top tier of Italian football.
Of course, it remains to be seen if that's enough for Suarez to sign a contract.
