Luuk de Jong's loan deal at Barcelona expired on June 30, and on July 1, PSV announced his arrival from Sevilla. De Jong also played for them between 2014 and 2019.
The Dutch club paid €4m for the striker, as per Fabrizio Romano. Previously, Luuk had rejected an offer from the Mexican side Toluca.
De Jong played for Barca in the 2021/22 season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 29 matches.
