Man United yet to reach 'full agreement' for Lisandro Martinez — reason revealed

According to tier-one journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have not reached 'full agreement' with Ajax to sign Lisandro Martinez despite submitting a renewed €50 million bid.

Although that's close to what the Eredivisie giants were demanding, it appears they are now hoping for a higher fee.

However, Ajax and United remain in negotiations for a transfer as Lisandro is believed to be keen on experiencing the Premier League.

He's also keen on reuniting with Erik ten Hag, which gives the Red Devils an upper hand over Arsenal.

It was recently reported that Ajax are awaiting an improved bid from the Gunners but they haven't matched our offer so far.

Romano adds that the next few days will be crucial in understanding Ajax's stance on selling Lisandro this summer.
