Modric Sings Benzema Praises, Says Frenchman Deserves Ballon D'or

"Benzema is Benzema! A striker and a playmaker in one player, synergy of talent and power, joy and finishing," Luka Modric has said, as quoted by Diario Sport.

"He is one of the best I've ever played with. Of course, he deserves the Ballon d'Or because he's been great this season! Karim has been a Ballon d'Or for me for a long time."

Benzema indeed had a great 2021/22 season, scoring 44 goals and providing 15 assists in 46 matches for Real Madrid. He helped the club win La Liga and Champions League.

As per reports, Benzema is the favourite to win the Ballon d'Or this year.
