Newcastle United have tabled a bid worth €28m for Marco Asensio, according to Mundo Deprtivo.
The offer for Asensio has already been turned down by Real Madrid as they value the forward at €35m.
Also, Asensio is not keen on joining the English club. His first choice is AC Milan if he were to leave Real Madrid.
Liverpool have already turned down the chance to sign Asensio.
If the Spaniard eventually leaves Real Madrid this summer, which is unlikely, Los Blancos will shop for a new winger. That could be Riyad Mahrez, Gnabry or even Leroy Sane.
