Liverpool were beaten 4-0 in their first pre-season game by Man United and there's nothing rival fans love more than seeing the Reds lose, even if it's only a friendly.
It's understandable though, given the Reds make the lives of rival fans miserable during the season, when it actually matters.
So this time the scapegoat for the night was Liverpool's biggest signing of the summer, Darwin Nunez. Rival fans (mostly United) were on hand to mock the striker after he wasn't able to score in the 30 minutes given to him on the night.

Decided not to comment until after the game and I'm going to shamelessly say two things.

1). Man Utd dodged a bullet in Darwin Nunez.
2). Don't care if it's just pre-seaaon, we're winning the Premier League 😂😂😂

Tanny: "Liverpool paid £80m for another Andy Carroll."
Buckkam: "This guy turned out to be just as horrible as he was in training"
Although rival fans have shown their IQ with the comments about Darwin Nunez, there's really no point in overanalysing a 30-minute cameo, in which he was clearly coping with lack of match fitness.
Even with that his movement was something to take note of and the fact that our more creative players were constantly looking to feed him, means rival fans are likely to eat their words come 2022/23 season.
