When talking about most prolific scorer in world football these days, you're used to hearing names such as Benzema, Mbappe, Lewandowski, or even Ronaldo or Messi up until a couple of seasons of course.
Interestingly, Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick has all of the aforementioned attackers beat, when it comes to non-penalty goals.
Schick scored 24 goals in the Bundesliga last season, with only one of those coming from a penalty. Comparitively, Ronaldo scored 18 goals in the Premier League - out of which 3 were from penalties.
Schick had the best non-penalty goals ratio last season, averaging 0.97 non-pen goals per 90 minutes (via FBREF) last season. Cristiano's non-penalty goal average was around 0.61 last season.
