Top source explains why signing Fofana this summer is 'very unlikely'

Chelsea have signed Kalidou Koulibaly this summer but lost out on Jules Kounde to Barcelona and it doesn't look like they will be able to sign Presnel Kimpembe.

Next on the list of their centre-back targets is Wesley Fofana, who is considered one of the Premier League's most talented players at his position.

However, it's almost impossible for any club to sign Fofana this summer. Top source Nizaar Kinsella explains why: "Very unlikely [for Chelsea to get Fofana].

"Leicester don't want to sell and he is happy there for at least another year. Just signed a new deal etc and he is grateful for how they looked after him following his leg break."

The Foxes will demand a 'world-record fee' for a defender to sell Fofana this summer, the Daily Mail adds. As of now, it seems impossible that he will join Chelsea.
