Xavi has given the green light for Barcelona to sign Anglo-Nigerian supertalent Carney Chukwuemeka, reports Mundo Deportivo's Ferran Martinez.
The club's sports management consider the Aston Villa midfielder a 'versatile, powerful and physically-gifted talent who is also good at ball control'.
The Catalans will only sign the 18-year-old if there is a financial possibility to land him. The club will not enter any bidding war for the player as they have other priority targets.
Aston Villa want to sell Chukwuemeka this summer since his current deal expires in 2023. The player's estimated value is €6m.
