Xavi: I would clearly like Messi to come back

"I would like Messi's time at Barcelona not to have ended," Xavi has told the media, per Cope.

"I think he deserves a second stage here at Barca. I wish so. If the question is whether I would like him to come back, the answer is a resounding yes."

Both Xavi and Joan Laporta have now been publicly talking about Leo Messi's potential comeback. It could take place next year when the Argentine's current deal with Paris Saint-Germain expires.

Messi could be really excited about the prospect of playing alongside all those new signings Barca have completed.
