7 core Barca players who should play 3,000+ minutes this season

Barcelona have a pretty large squad heading into the 2022/23 season. There's even a challenge regarding registering some players. However, there are players whose place in the squad is unquestionable.

Let's look at the players who are expected to play at least 3000 minutes this season - that equates 33 full games

Ter Stegen. Regardless of whatever story the media cooks up, Xavi rates the German goalie highly. He played 4200 minutes last season and could play more this term if he stays fit.

Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan powerhouse is another player who's highly trusted by Xavi.

Jules Kounde. The Frenchman has been hailed as the missing piece of the jigsaw in Xavi's defence. We'll be seeing him a lot.

Jordi Alba. The veteran left-back is an undisputed starter for Barcelona. There's no changing that.

Pedri. The Spaniard did not play a lot of games last season because he was injured for the most part. That shouldn't be the case this season.

Sergio Busquets. The veteran is the club captain and played more minutes than any Barca player last term, bar Ter Stegen. He's still going to be crucial this season.

Robert Lewandowski. There will be intense competition in Barca's attack this season, but one player who will likely always get the nod when fit is the Polish goal machine.
