Antony: 'I Received Contract Renewal From Ajax But I Made It Clear - I Want To Leave'

In an exclusive by Fabrizio Romano, Antony has broken his silence on wanting to leave Ajax for Manchester Unitedo.

Shortly after the Eredivisie side turned down United's second bid worth €90 million, Antony told Romano: "During the window months, meetings continued and I also received a proposal from Ajax for contract renewal.

"I made it clear once again: I want to leave."

Antony has missed Ajax's latest training sessions and was excluded from the squad to face Sparta Rotterdam as well.

It's clear the 22-year-old winger wants to join United but Ajax are refusing to budge on their asking price.
