According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Barcelona are in intensive talks with Chelsea over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's move.
The parties have still not reached an agreement over the transfer fee, with Blaugrana demanding more than what the Blues are ready to pay.
The move is further 'complicated' by the consequences of a recent armed robbery. The intruders who robbed Auba broke his jaw, so the Gabonese could miss up to 3 weeks of football because of that.
Chelsea need a striker now, and Auba picking up an injury could see the Blues turning their attention away from him, although it is not certain at the moment.
Ornstein also reports that the new solution is a season-long loan for Auba. The clubs are currently discussing this option.
