Chelsea 'confident' of completing Gordon and Aubameyang deals before deadline

Chelsea are increasingly confident they will be able to complete deals for both Anthony Gordon and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the end of the transfer window, the Evening Standard reports.

The Blues are said to be ready to pay up to ₤60m for Gordon who has reportedly informed Everton that he wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are also in advanced talks for Aubameyang who is open to leaving Barcelona after the Premier League club contacted his representatives. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue in either case.

Chelsea have stepped up their efforts to bolster their squad after a 3-0 defeat to Leeds that highlighted issues across the pitch.
