Aubameyang played at Borussia Dortmund under Thomas Tuchel who could be interested in the reunion.
It was under the current Chelsea head coach when the Gabonese forward exploded into one of the best goalscorers in Europe, scoring 79 goals in two years across all competitions.
Last season, the 33-year-old left Arsenal for Barcelona and scored 11 goals in 17 La Liga matches.
