The Guardian report that Wesley Fofana has asked Leicester to sell him to Chelsea.
However, the Foxes are unwilling to sell. They demand 'at least' an £85m fee for the centre-back.
£85m would equal a world-record fee for centre-back: United signed Maguire for the same amount back in 2019.
The report says that Chelsea are ready to meet this asking price as Thomas Tuchel really needs a defender.
