Juventus set for 'serious' talks with Memphis this week

Juventus are serious about signing Memphis Depay from Barcelona this summer, per Goal's Romeo Agresti.

The Bianconeri will begin talks with the player's representatives this week over a possible departure.

Memphis' agents could advise the player to leave the club to ensure he plays a lot of games ahead of the World Cup.

On Barca's side, they may give the player a letter of freedom to allow him to leave as a free agent - that way they get rid of his wages.

Xavi is already spoiled for options at right-wing and can afford to let Memphis go.
