Man United 'confident' of securing Antony deal after €94m bid

According to The Athletic, a tier-one source, Manchester United are finally 'confident' of reaching an agreement with Ajax to sign Antony before the transfer window ends.

The Red Devils have already agreed on personal terms with Antony, given the 22-year-old winger's strong desire to join.

United's first bid of around €80 million was rebuffed by the Eredivisie side, following which they demanded a whopping €100 million.

However, The Athletic understands the new bid stands at around €94 million. Ajax are reportedly close to accepting that offer.

Antony's training no-show as well as exclusion from matchday squads have left Ajax with little choice but to sanction a deal.
