Man United Drops Frenkie De Jong Transfer Pursuit

Man United seem to be ready to finally end their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, claims CBS Sports’ journalist Ben Jacobs.

The Red Devils have reportedly ‘all but given up’ on their chase for the Dutchman.

The biggest indication for this could be that the Red Devils are closing in on a big-money move to sign Antony for over £80m.

United had agreed a fee with Barca for the midfielder a long time ago, but couldn’t convince to join them.

With the Red Devils signing Casemiro for that defensive midfield role, it seems Erik ten Hag has accepted that he won’t be able to reunite with De Jong anymore.
