OFFICIAL: Alexia Putellas wins UEFA Women's Player of the Year

Barcelona Femini captain Alexia Putellas has been named the UEFA Women's Player of the Year for 2022.

Putellas registered 42 goals and 21 assists across the 2021/22 season, securing the Women's Champions League in the process.

She is the first female football player to win this award for two years in a row.
