Real Madrid are 'close to selling' Miguel Gutierrez to newly-promoted Girona, top-tier reporter Mariano Cortegana (5 stars) reports.
Just like they did with Take Kubo, the Merengues will sell just 50% of the rights on the left-back. They will also include a cheap buy-back option in the deal with Girona.
Madrid plan that Miguel will mature in Catalonia and come back to become an important team member, just like Dani Carvajal did back in the day.
The club believe in the 21-year-old's talents, but Carlo Ancelotti doesn't count on him for next season. The coach thinks that the left-back has to improve defensively before he is ready to compete for a first-team spot.
