'That's on United': Mark Goldbridge names United's biggest mistake in De Jong saga

Mark Goldbridge, host of popular Youtube fn channel, the United Stand has shared his thoughts on where the club went wrong in the Frenkie de Jong saga.

"United's biggest mistake with the De Jong deal, and it is a mistake, was agreeing a deal with Barca & De Jong then leaving them to resolve the wage issue for 6 weeks.

"It was always wide open for a club like Chelsea to come in and pay it all. That's on United."

Chelsea are very close to agreeing a deal for the player with Barcelona but his wage issue still remains unresolved. It had been reported earlier that he would only leave Barca to join Chelsea in the Premier League.
