As per Simon Stone of the BBC, Manchester United played a closed doors friendly against Halifax Town.

United won the game 5-1 and Varane, Eric Bailly, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Elanga are reported to have featured in the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo did not play in the game contrary to initial reports that suggested the player was involved.
