Asensio makes final decision on future after Ancelotti talk

Marco Asensio has had a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes to confirm his intention of continuing at Real Madrid this season, Relevo's Sergio Santos reports.

The winger had a personal meeting with Carlo Ancelotti during which the coach told Asensio that he counts on him.

All of the clubs interested in Asensio have been informed that the player will stay put.

The 26-year-old's contract at Madrid expires next summer and, at the moment, it doesn't look like it will get extended. Nevertheless, the Spaniard wants to stay and fight for a place in the squad.
