Barca reach agreement with Braithwaite over 'contract termination'

Barcelona and Martin Braithwaite have reached a complete agreement over the contract termination, per Sport.

The striker will smile to the bank with a settlement close to €3m, sources say.

Barca spent €18m to bring Braithwaite to the club two years ago and placed him on a €6m gross salary.

The Denmark international claimed just 10 goals and 5 assists in 58 appearances as a Barca player before falling out of favour with Xavi.

Braithwaite is now set to sign as a free agent for Espanyol - a club Barca didn't want him to join.
