Bukayo Saka mocked by Italian media after latest England loss

Bukayo Saka was rated as England's worst performer in the 1-0 loss to Italy.

And Italian media spared the Arsenal star no mercy as they taunted him for his missed penalty in the Euro 2020 final, where England once again lost to the Azzuri.

Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport rated him 4.5/10 - the least among England players - and wrote: "One would want to tell him: ‘No worries Saka, Chiellini is no longer here’. He was still shocked, a phantom on the left flank and Southgate made it worse by keeping him on the pitch for 72 minutes."

Despite a solid start for the Gunners, the 21-year-old failed to make a mark for England. He will have another chance to impress when they face Germany next week.
