Casemiro to face similar wage cut to Ronaldo if United fail to complete objective

As per a report by The Athletic, Casemiro would face a similar wage cut as that of Cristiano Ronaldo did last season, should United fail to qualify for Champions League football.

Casemiro's reported wages are around £375,000-a-week, having been signed from Real Madrid for a potential £70 million fee.

Last season United failed to make it to the Champions League qualifying spots in the league and a result, most of the squad took a wage cut, including Ronaldo.

Ronaldo's mammoth £480,000-a-week salary was said to have been reduced by 25%.
