Chelsea to enter Bellingham race despite two other clubs in front seat - The Telegraph

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are prepared to enter the race for Jude Bellingham in earnest.

Todd Boehly believes the Blues have time to make a serious play for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, despite the fact that Liverpool and Real Madrid have been working on the deal for months and are understood to be the frontrunners.

Dortmund are expected to make Bellingham available for £130 million, which would make the 19-year-old the third-most expensive player ever after Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

The Blues' new owners have already spent almost £300 million during their first transfer window in charge.

However, Chelsea seriously intend to splash cash on midfield in 2023, with the uncertainty over the future of Jorginho and N'Golo Kante who might see their deals expire next summer.
