As per Nizaar Kinsella, Edouard Mendy has turned down Chelsea's initial offer for a contract renewal over the terms of the deal.
He had been offered a contract that had wages inferior to that of Kepa Arrizabalaga's when he signed back in 2018.
Mendy is one of the lowest earning player in the squad right now and his contract expires in 2025.
