Firmino drops 'years to come' hint as he discusses Salah partnership

As he spoke about his relationship with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino might've dropped a hint over his contract ambitions at Liverpool.

"He is a great player, a great character," Firmino told Liverpool's official YouTube channel.

"It is an honour to play with him and I hope we can keep on bringing the Liverpool fans joy, for years to come".

While Salah extended his deal with Liverpool until 2025, Firmino's contract expires next summer already. So far, we've received no indication that Liverpool are in serious talks over a new agreement.

The Brazilian is currently in his eighth season with the Reds. He only recently has scored his 100th goal across all competitions for Liverpool - although his importance for Jurgen Klopp's team goes far beyond goals.
