La Liga President Tebas Confirms Griezmann Case Could Be Solved In Court

"The issue of Antoine Griezmann would have to be determined by an arbitration tribunal of external jurists and in 6 months there should be a decision, which would not be subject to appeal," La Liga president Javier Tebas has said.

Reports have it that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are in disagreement over the purchase option on Griezmann.

The Catalans claim that they are entitled to €40m because the Frenchman played over 50% of the games in the first season as a starter. However, the Rojiblancos believe that the conditions apply to both seasons.

Atletico obviously don't want to pay the fee and have been using Griezmann as a sub this season.
