Messi will not come back to Barca unless one player leaves

Leo Messi's entourage says the Argentine will not come back to Barcelona unless Gerard Pique leaves the club, reports Marc Marba.

There is a very tense relationship between the two following Messi's Barca exit. Pique reportedly insisted on the Argentine's departure in a private talk with Joan Laporta.

Barcelona can unilaterally terminate Pique's contract if he does not play 35 per cent of all the games this season, it was said earlier. Besides, there is a chance that he simply decides to hang his boots next year.

Regardless of where he plays next, Messi is clear that this is his final season at Paris Saint-Germain, the source adds. His contract expires in July and he doesn't plan to extend it.

The 35-year-old has scored 6 goals and provided 8 assists for the Parisians so far this season.
