Real Madrid in final stages of finalizing new 6-year contract for Militao

Real Madrid are now preparing the final documents that will be needed to be signed by Eder Militao to finalize his new contract, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Los Blancos have already verbally agreed a new 6-year contract that will be valid until June 2028.

Madrid will also insert a €1bn release clause into the contract to ensure nobody can pray him away from them.

The club are expected to officially confirm the new contract soon, with the Brazilian centre-back already having said yes to a long-term deal in July.

Madrid want Militao to be a major part of their backline for many years to come after watching his impressive performances last season, where he stepped up and helped them win the La Liga and Champions League titles.
