Chelsea have updated the details of Reece James' contract length to six years instead of the originally stated five years.
This means the defender has committed to the club until the summer of 2028.
Upon signing the new deal James said: "I’d like to say a special thanks to the fans, I am here to stay and we have a bright future ahead of us."
