Fede Valverde is on fire after starting the season amazingly well for Real Madrid and Uruguay.

The midfielder won the La Liga Player of the Month award for his heroics in September and is a man on form.

Valverde nearly scored a goal of the year contender during Uruguay’s match against Canada recently.

Unluckily, the ball rattles the bar – almost breaking it in the process – before going out. If that had gone into, Valverde might’ve been a favourite for the Puskas Award next year.
