Xavi reacts to Alba's honest statement on his failed Inter Milan move

"We understand Jordi Alba’s statement, he’s a hard worker. Everyone has their personal opinions. The most important thing is that he’s a professional, he trains well and is one of the leaders of our team," Xavi has told the media.

It is great that Xavi doesn't allow any confict to leak into the locker room. Jordi may be upset with the board's desire to let him go, but this is what doesn't matter anymore – Alba is still here and the season is in full swing.

Earlier, Jordi Alba said 'things could be done better' at the club, hinting that no one spoke to him face to face while negotiating the deal.
