Analysing Arsenal's poor squad depth ahead of the World Cup and the hectic Christmas period, Martin Keown told The Sun: "I don’t want this to derail his [Mikel Arteta] team – five people missing and five subs on.
"Strength in depth not quite there but as long as they can learn from that, they’ll use this as fuel going into the [Nottingham] Forest game."
Teams that win big competitions like the Premier League are able to do so with enough players on the squad.
At Arsenal, that's not the case, with Arteta relying heavily on his winning team throughout the season.
Signs of fatigue and injury are creeping through and it doesn't bode well for Arteta with the festive period coming up.
