Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent months. Many saw him as Sergio Busquets' successor.
However, the 23-year-old Basque is unlikely to move to the Camp Nou any time soon as Sociedad have confirmed that the player has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2027.
