Inter Milan have received €3m compensation from UEFA for Christian Eriksen's cardiac arrest at last year's Euros.
Now with Manchester United, Eriksen suffered the heart attack when playing for Denmark at the summer Euros.
He would eventually have to terminate his contract with Inter in December as the Italian government does not allow athletes to compete when using a defibrillator.
However, Eriksen would eventually sign for Brentford before joining United in the summer.
The law in Italy, meanwhile, remains.
