Klopp: ‘Coming from 2-0 down to 3-2 up takes energy’

When asked about his thoughts on Liverpool’s performance in the 3-3 draw against Brighton, Jurgen Klopp said: “Coming from 2-0 down to 3-2 up costs energy.

“The boys came back from everywhere in the world - we just needed to control the game much better. We had that for 2-3 years, but we didn't [today].

“The passing game was not good today. We passed all over the place. But we were 2-0 down to a really good opponent. We have to keep working.

“We are under pressure. We want to do better, we want more points, we want to be higher up in the table.”

The Reds did come back from being 2-0 down, but failed to hold the lead and ended up dropping points again. They’ve now drawn 4 games in the league in just 7 games after a really poor start to the season.
