One of the most prominent football agents Jorge Mendes paid visit to the capital of Catalonia yesterday.
He was spotted with Barcelona president Joan Laporta and sporting director Mateu Alemany.
Many assumed the main topic of the discussion was the potential transfer of Bernardo Silva next summer.
However, according to Jijantes, the main reason why Mendes met Barca officials was Alejandro Balde's contract renewal. His current deal runs until June 30, 2024.
The 18-year-old has established himself as one of the most promising Spanish left-backs and definitely has earned to continue at Barca.
